A rare and unique opportunity is being offered as a service to the general public, parents and teachers of special needs children to participate in a 3 month (part time) short course conducted by the Chitra Lane Children’s Resource Centre, Colombo 5. The workshop will be held on 10 Saturdays + 2 weekdays between May – July 2013, and will include hands-on training in working with special needs children. The training team will consist of medical consultants, academics, psychologists, special educationists, community experts, and therapists working in related fields.

Target Group: Teachers (including Pre-school), Parents, Caregivers & Social Workers
Admission Requirement: Any interested person
Medium of Instruction: English and Sinhala Application Deadline: 1st May 2013
