Dr. Lester Massingham, Director of the MBA for executives, London School of Commerce Group of Colleges was also present. 88 graduates, having studied at the British School of Commerce received their Cardiff Metropolitan University MBA and MSc IT degrees from the Deputy Vice Chancellor. These 88 graduates thus joined 15000 alumni of LSC Group spanning 130 countries.

The LSC cricket team has won its division of the British Universities and Colleges (BUCS) league for each of the last three seasons, and the team captain has just won selection for the Red Bull Campus Cricket World Championship, representing the MCC universities team. LSC sponsors the Cardiff Metropolitan University rugby team which this year reached the final of the BUCS competition played at Twickenham for the fifth time in seven years.
