Lyceum Nugegoda excels at Schools Aquatic Novices
View(s):Lyceum International School Nugegoda excelled at the sixth Sri Lanka Schools Age Group Aquatic Sports Novices Championship, which was held at the Sugathadasa Swimming Pool Complex recently. The meet was held from February 15 to 17 and saw 121 schools taking part.
The swimmers of Lyceum Nugegoda performed impressively with their girls winnning the overall championship and their boys securing the overall second runners-up position. In the Under-9 boy’s championship, Lyceum’s Savin Kaluarachchi became the champion swimmer while Janith Wickramanayake clinched the Under-11 boy’s championship. The triumphant Lyceum Nugegoda swimmers were coached by Nishantha Perera with J.A.S. Somachandra overseeing the teams as the Master-in-Charge.
