One of the programme offered under the area of health and life sciences is Bachelor in Forensic Science (Hons).
This programme aims at integrating the knowledge, attitude and skills in forensic sciences across the curriculum.
The students will be provided with the knowledge and skills to investigate the crime case and also integrate scientific theory and practical training that will be required to work in a highly specialized forensic laboratory.

Students will learn the various theories of crime and deviance in society that form the basis of criminal law and criminal justice system of the country. Upon graduation, graduates will be able to perform crime scene investigation, analysis and report writing and expert in the court of law. Also appreciate the concept of a civil community that respects the rights and property of others and abhors violence, theft and exploitation of others.
