“Building Caring Minds for the World” IIHS Graduation Ceremony 2012

Hon Dr. Sarath Amunugama, Senior Minister of International Monitory Corporation and Deputy Minister of Finance & Planning graced the IIHS Graduation Ceremony on 3rd December, 2012 at Sri Lanka Foundation Institute, Colombo. Twenty students graduated as Postgraduate Diploma holders in Hospital Administration pathway for the final year of the Master of Health Services Management at ECU & La Trobe University Australia. Students who completed a three year diploma in pharmacy were awarded their diplomas while students completing a three year Diploma in General Nursing were awarded their diplomas and would be moving to Deakin University, Australia to complete the final year of their Bachelors.

A further fifteen students were recognized for completing one year of their Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled) program and will be completing the Diploma at TAFE South Australia. Students of the Laboratory Technology (specializing in Biotechnology) program received their certificates for completing the first year of their program and they too would be moving to Australia to complete their diploma at the Box Hill TAFE Institute in Melbourne.

Students from the Diploma in Physiotherapy program moving on the Associate Degree in Physical Therapy in State University of New York (SUNY), Canton were also felicitated at this event.
