Opposition parties yesterday took part in a protest over the controversial modules for Grade 6 English medium which has now been withdrawn.
The protest was held near the statue of C W W Kannangara in Matugama, who is considered the ‘father of free education’ in the country.
Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa participated in the protest.
