Etisalat ties up as the Official Communications Partner for Future Minds Expo 2013

Etisalat Lanka has stepped forward for the third consecutive year to sponsor ‘Future Minds Expo 2013’ – the higher education and career exhibition. With the aim of inspiring the country’s youth, Etisalat tied up with Future Minds as a Platinum Sponsor by signing up as its Official Communication Partner. The event is eagerly awaited by school leavers and career aspirants and is the only higher educational expo conducted in three major cities across the country. Future Minds 2013 which commenced at BMICH in Colombo from 21st – 23rd of June and then moved to Kandy City Centre on 28th & 30th of June will continue at Galle Town Hall on 7th & 8th of September.

Explaining the reasons behind their partnership Etisalat Director/ CEO Dumindra Ratnayaka said “As a brand, we are always committed to support initiatives that will make a positive impact in society. Partnering with an initiative such as Future Minds which is aimed at preparing the country’s youth to face challenges in terms of education and employment, which will enhance their future is an ideal opportunity for us to contribute towards this positive development. Last year the event was a great success, and we believe this year the event will be even more successful”.

Future Minds was launched with the aim of preparing the country’s youth through creating awareness on various education related avenues and career paths they can access in order to effectively plan their future in a rapidly globalizing and highly competitive job market.

Elaborating further on the event Ravi Hettiarachchi, President of Future Minds said “’Future Minds’ has come a long journey hand in hand with the students of Sri Lanka, their parents and various higher education providers, in order to create a healthy and lively forum for a most educated choice in career planning. The event features the very best of universities and higher education providers as well as other reputed organisations offering higher education programmes. Students are welcome to visit the exhibition making the most of opportunities available, in the form of a huge array of higher education providers, auxiliary service providers, career guidance lectures, seminars and a host of others.
