Scholarships on offer for higher education
View(s):Applications for the University Grants Commission-Mitsubishi Corporation International Scholarships ends next week.
The value of the scholarship is Rs 48,000 for an academic year commencing August 1, 2013 to July 31, 2014.
Students registered for the courses in Management Studies at the Faculty of Management & Finance, University of Colombo, Faculty of Management Studies & Commerce, University of Sri Jayawardenapura, will be eligible to apply.
Students should belong to Academic year 2011/2012 based on the GCE- A/L results of 2011.

Closing dates for applications for the award of Commonwealth Postgraduate Scholarships offered by Kenya and South Africa, for the academic year 2013/14 also close on June 30.
In Kenya, three scholarships are on offer at the University of Nairobi for any two-year Master’s Degree programmes.

In South Africa, five Commonwealth Fellowships are on offer at six universities, for one or two-year Master’s Degree programmes.
