S. Thomas’ College. Mount Lavinia recorded three wins in the ongoing Colombo Schools Hockey Tournament which is being conducted by the Colombo Schools Hockey Committee at the Astro turf.
In their under 15 fixture they defeated Wesley College by four goals to nil with R. Nallaperuma in brilliant form scoring a hat-trick, while their under 19 team inflicted a resounding 10-0 defeat on Asoka Vidyalaya and defeated Nalanda Vidyalaya 1-0. In another under 15 fixture, Royal College beat D.S. Senanayake 1-0 on penalty strokes after the game ended in a one all draw. M.S. Irshad scored for Royal in 32nd minute, Dilshan Laheer equalised for D.S. Senanayake in the 36th minute.
