The British School Under 19 Inter-International basketball tournament is in full swing, with Asian International School, Colombo International School, Gateway College and Lyceum International School registering early wins at the British School courts. The tournament, which kicked off on December 3, will pit all international schools against each other in highly-competitive action which will carry on until December 12.

Results: Boys’

Under 19 Group B – Asian International School 49 (Dimitri Grebe 19) beat Leighton Park International 19 (Chethiya Weerarathne 06)
Under 19 Group A – Colombo International School 67 (Nitesh Ranasinghe 17) beat Elizabeth Moir School 31 (Ifaz Fahim 10)
Under 19 Group D – Gateway College Colombo 71 (Lakith Weerasinghe 28) beat Royal Institute 32 (Sadesh and Dinush 10)
Under 19 Group C – Lyceum International School Nugegoda 67 (Viren Samaranayaka 35) beat Lyceum International School Wattala 43 (Tharaka Perera 15)
