Deakin University Melbourne Australia has recognised CMA Sri Lanka Professional Programme Foundation and Operational Level for credit transfer to the 2nd year of Deakin University M300 Bachelor of Commerce Degree programme.  The Bachelors of Commerce Degree 2nd year programme will consist of the following major .

Only five percent of business programmes worldwide are AACSB accredited and DBS is one of only three in Victoria.

CMA Sri Lanka is the National Professional Management Accounting Body in Sri Lanka incorporated by Parliament Act No. 23 of 2009 and a member of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) the global organisation for the accountancy profession dedicated to serving the public interest by strengthening the profession and contributing to the development of strong international economies. IFAC is comprised of over 175 members and associates in more than 130 countries and jurisdictions, representing almost 3 million accountants in public practice, education, government service, industry, and commerce. CMA is also a member of the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) and the Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants (CAPA).
