Horticulture and landscaping course offered
View(s):The Department of National Botanical Gardens is calling applications for a free horticulture and landscaping course offered by the Landscaping School.
Both male and female applicants could apply for the course which would include instructions on how to care for plants, how to identify species of plants as well as cultivation of Anthurium, orchid, rose, cactus, ornamental plants varieties.
The deadline for accepting applications is scheduled February 27, 2026. Afterwards the applicants would be called for an interview prior to being selected for the course.
The applicants should be between the ages of 16 to 35. Apart from that the applicants should be people who have appeared for G.C.E ordinary level exams.
The course is scheduled to commence on March 9.
The applicants could apply for the course by filling in the Google form or posting the application to Deputy Director, School of Horticulture and Landscaping, Peradeniya.
