NCHS was pleased to welcome a delegation from Federation University Australia, together with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) – New Colombo Plan (NCP) team, led by Dr. Kushan Tennakoon, for a meaningful visit on strengthening international education collaboration and enhancing global learning opportunities for our students.
The visit brought together Federation University students, academics, and the DFAT–NCP team, creating space for conversation and shared learning. Students engaged with the NCHS community, gaining insight into Sri Lanka and experiencing how international partnerships come alive beyond the classroom.
The presence of the DFAT–New Colombo Plan team highlighted the importance of initiatives that support regional connection and strengthen the NCHS – Federation collaboration.
The visit concluded with productive conversations on building long-term partnerships and creating meaningful academic exchanges that benefit students in both Sri Lanka and Australia.
