85th anniversary of Vidyaloka College held

The 85th anniversary of Vidyaloka College was held recently where students and teachers paid tribute to the founders of the school by offering flowers.
The principal, teachers, school staff, members of the Old Boys Association, school development committee as well as students participated in the event.
The founders of the school Ven Valavitiye Pungnasara Thera and philanthropist Henry Tudward Amarasuriya were among whose services to the school were remembered.
Apart from that the school’s official emblem was issued for the 85th anniversary. The emblem was designed in a manner it represented past decades of the school.
