Padmashree Group - a profile

Padmashree Group of Institutions was started in the year 1996 by commencing BPT course then affiliated to Bangalore University. This was the first BPT College in Bangalore then. The starting of various educational programmes under the Padmashree banner was to espouse a noble cause of providing quality education. Today Padmashree Group has various courses affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and Bangalore University.

It has ten Colleges under its umbrella. To fulfil the dream of academic village Padmashree Group has a 35 acre campus in Kengeri. This Educational complex is a state-of-the-art infrastructure and has all the recreational facilities for the students including a shopping mall.

Padmashree will be offering M.Sc. in Clinical Research for the first time in Karnataka from 2011 and the course is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.

In addition, PGI also offers short-term training programmes in subjects like Plant Tissue Culture, Molecular Biology. Students from PGI have fared well in the University exams and have secured many ranks in the University examinations.

PGI has students from various neighbouring countries like Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Iran, Sudan, Yemen, Kenya, Bhutan, Maldives etc. Students from different states of India also enrol at PGI. Hence it has a multicultural touch to it. There are over 20 Sri Lankan students in PGI.

Padmashree also offers merit scholarships to all students who excel in University examinations and secure distinctions.
