Richmond College Galle won the Under-10 Division ‘A’ title at the Inter-Schools Team Chess Championship, which was organised by the Schools’ Chess Federation of Sri Lanka.
The tournament was held at the auditorium of St. John’s College Nugegoda. The victorious team was captained by Chandupa Samarasekara and also had Sarinda Mampitiyarachchi, Isira Weraniyagoda, Akila Colambage, Sakila Wijesekara, Vihanga Jayasekara and Marlon Pathirana.
