Snow falls at Excel World

Did you ever wonder why many people talk about a White Christmas? Well kids this is because snowy weather is associated with Christmas time which falls in the winter season.
Well of course we don’t experience a White Christmas in Sri Lanka as it is a tropical island. Fortunately this hasn’t stopped the uncles and aunties at Excel World from letting us have fun in the snow. So, for the tenth consecutive year snow falls in Excel World!
“Snow World 2012” is a much awaited event where you can have a splendid time under one roof and experience the spirit of an original White Christmas with family and friends! Lots of prizes and surprises await you, with entertainment galore, live music and competitions. You can also make a lot of new friends while playing in the snow. Last year Snow World attracted over 250, 000 people.
Snow World opened on December 7, 2012 and will go on till January 6, 2013 from 6 p. m. onwards.
