Ashani flips her way to multiple-medal finish

Chalanima Ashani, the captain of Sacred Heart Convent in Galle, won four medals at the All-Island Schools Gymnastics Championship.
Ashani won three golds and one silver medal in the competition, participating in the Under-19 age category. She won gold medals in the floor exercise, uneven bars and pommel horse events, while winning a silver medal in the balance beam event. Her school won the overall championship of the competition. Over the past three years Ashani has won many medals at this competition for her school.
