A result could be reached in the 113th Battle of Nilwala which will draw to a close at the Uyanwatte Stadium in Matara today.
St. Servatius declared their first innings at 181 for 9. Sanjika Ridma scored 73 while right arm fast bowler Hashan Vimarshana captured three wickets.
St. Servatius dismissed the Thomians for 151 runs in their first innings. Chalanaka Weerasinghe captured three wickets while Ashen Deemantha and Ruchira Jayathunga captured two wickets each.
St. Servatius were 95 for the loss of six wickets at the end of day two and are 125 runs ahead with four wickets in hand.
It will be anyone’s game with a full day’s play left today.
