‘Sokari’, an old folk drama in Sri Lanka, which was formed according to the rural traditions of Shanthikarmas that were performed for the goddess Paththini seeking fertility and prosperity, will be staged on at 3.30 pm and 6.45 pm on Sunday January 20, (today) at Borella Namel Malani Punchi Theater.

Sokari which is played throughout the nights for seven days is condensed to two and half hours, this theatrical experience is directed by award wining director Jaliya Rajapakshe and it is organised by Jude Srimal.
All seats have been box planned and tickets are available at the Namel Malini Punchi Theatre.
