Kalutara Teachers win State Services Netball
View(s):The Kalutara Teachers netball team clinched the State Services Division ‘B’ championship, beating the Special Task Force side in the final, played at the Sports Ministry ground in Colombo.
The jubilant Kalutara Teachers side also claimed three individual awards at the tournament, with Manorika Saputhanthri, Saloja Perera and Maduka Wijekoon winning the prizes for the best shooter, best defender and best centre respectively. The side is coached by Janaki Gunasekara with the Kalutara Regional Director for Sports, Ashoka Beatris, providing the fullest assistance in nurturing the netball team of Kalutara Teachers.
