The Friendship Table Tennis Club recently conducted a coaching camp, which saw the participation of 50 young players from school throughout Sri Lanka, at the Shuttle Power Sports Complex.

More than 50 young players from schools of all parts of Sri Lanka participated. Veteran table tennis players and reputed coaches of present day, Jothipala Samaraweera, Ira Ruwanpathirana and H. Gamage conducted the camp. At the end of the coaching camp, players were divided into groups and competed in a tournament which was dominated by paddlers from Anula Vidyalaya.

Sethma Nethmini, Dewma Liyanage and Sashvi Onega won three respective groups while Matheesha Wijeratne of WesleyCollege and Aathif Rushdi of Royal College won the other two groups in style.
