Talented students continue to be empowered through CA Sri Lanka’s SAB Campus Sisu Diri Scholarships

Reaffirming its mission to empower academically talented students across the country, the SAB Campus of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) proudly announced the awarding of full scholarships under its flagship Sisu Diri Scholarship Fund.
The Sisu Diri Scholarship Fund, launched by SAB Campus, was established to ensure that every deserving student can pursue a degree without financial barriers. This year, five scholarships were awarded to students from the Western, North Western, North Central, Sabaragamuwa, and Eastern provinces, reinforcing equitable access to higher education across Sri Lanka. Each scholarship, valued at LKR 930,000, offers comprehensive benefits including full tuition fee coverage, networking opportunities through campus events, a guaranteed two-year internship, and a pathway towards becoming a Chartered Accountant with exemptions from two levels.
The scholarships are granted based on academic merit at the G.C.E. A/L Examination and their financial need. Through this initiative, SAB Campus continues to uphold CA Sri Lanka’s vision of fostering educational excellence and social responsibility.
Mr. Heshana Kuruppu, President of CA Sri Lanka said, “Through the Sisu Diri Scholarship Fund, we are extending our commitment beyond classrooms, to ensure that deserving students from every province have equal access to quality higher education.”
The fund is sustained through generous contributions from CA Sri Lanka members, alumni, and well-wishers, who share a common goal of investing in the future of Sri Lanka’s youth.
