Indian HC gifts desks and chairs to 8 schools in Kalmunai
View(s):High Commissioner of India Santosh Jha gifted study tables and chairs to students across 8 schools of Kalmunai in the Ampara District this week.
The schools were Al Ashraf National School, Al Mazhar Girls’ High School, Addappallam Sahitha Vidyalaya, Imam Gazzaly Vidyalaya, Al Mina Vidyalaya and Arafa Vidyalaya School in Nintavur; Al Matheena Vidyalaya in Maruthamunai; and Al Ashraf Maha Vidyalaya in Mawadippalli.
Members of Parliament Rishad Bathiudeen and Mohamed Tahir; Zonal Director of Education Kalmunai, S Najeem; along with principals, teachers and students from the schools attended the event held at Al Mazhar Girls’ High School, Nintavur.
