The annual Graduation & Prize giving of Jade International School was held at the ICBT Auditorium on 24th October 2025. The glittering event this year was attended by a large, distinguished audience that included members of the Board of Directors, Sectional Heads, faculty, staff, parents, and students. It is one of the most celebrated, eagerly awaited prestigious event in the Academic Calendar of the School.

The ceremony this year marked the graduation of a class of 32 students. The distribution of prizes followed the Graduation Ceremony. More than 40 Students carried away overall & subject prizes.
The evening featured lively performances by the Students of Lower, Upper Primary & High School, adding colour and rhythm to the proceedings. Awards were presented across multiple categories, recognising not only academic achievement but also creativity, leadership, and outstanding awards in athletics.
The Chief Guest at this occasion was Ms.Zahara Ansary, Country Head, Cambridge University, Sri Lanka & the Maldives.Ms.Ansary mentioned, “It’s inspiring to see how far Jade International School has come in such a short time, from a young institution to one recognised under the Cambridge framework for its commitment to excellence. To the students, as you celebrate your achievements tonight, remember that true success is not measured by titles or awards, but by the humility and integrity with which you move forward. Your hard work and values will help you to be the best version of yourselves, in learning and in life.”

The valedictorian of the class of 2025, Ms.Mariyah Kbuzaima delivered an inspiring speech that challenged the graduating class to make a difference as they step out into the world.
The investiture ceremony of the new Board of Prefects 2025/26 was part of the event. During the ceremony, newly appointed prefects pledged an oath, received their badges, and are encouraged to lead with integrity, responsibility, and a commitment to service. The outgoing Head Prefect, Ms Sandali Fernando delivered the prefect Oaths & emphasised the importance of leadership qualities like empathy, responsibility, and perseverance. She also extended her heartfelt congratulations on behalf of everyone to Noor Mlak Shabney – head girl, Yunus Mihlar – head boy and all prefects .
The Graduation Ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by the school student committee president Abdur Rahman Azeez.
