Southeastern Uni and ICASL renew agreement
View(s):The renewal of the existing agreement between the Southeastern University and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL) was held last week at the Southeastern University Administration Building Auditorium.
At the event, organised by the Department of Accounting and Finance of the Faculty of Management and Commerce, a team led by Vice Chancellor Professor Dr S M Junaideen on behalf of the Southeastern University and a team led by Heshana Kuruppu on behalf of the Institute of Chartered Accountants signed and exchanged documents.
During the event, the Institute of Chartered Accountants presented a letter of appreciation to Librarian M M Ripawood, and Head of the Department of Accounting and Finance, M A C N Shabana was also presented with a set of books.
The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Management and Commerce, Professor Dr A M M Mustapha, professors, heads of departments and lecturers from the Southeastern University, and by the Institute of Chartered Accountants Vice President Dishan Subasinghe, Chief Secretariat Officer Lakmali Priyanka, Deputy Director in Charge of Student Affairs Madushi Hapuwarachchi, Manager in Charge of Education Kalhara Gunathunga and Coordinator of the Student Recruitment Unit Anindithan Ravindran, among others.
