A Royal-Thomian tennis clash

Royal, S. Thomas’, Ananda and St. Peter’s College have entered the semi-finals in the boys’ schools tennis tournament at the National Schools Games held at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association course yesterday.

Royal will clash with arch rivals S. Thomas’ in one semi-final while Ananda will meet St. Peter’s in the other semi-final. Royal beat Jaffna College while S. Thomas beat De Mazenod in the first round. nanda beat St. John’s College, while St. Peter’s beat Sri Koneshwara Vidyalaya in the first round.

All these teams possess good players and an interesting semi-final clash can be expected. The matches are scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. today. The winner is decided in a clash of two singles and a doubles matches.
