Stop littering, be mindful and think recycling is the message that young Nalaka Senadeera (27) has been spreading through his one-man bicycle campaign from Point Pedro to Dondra. The Mirror Magazine first reported his campaign at the outset on September 29, having completed his journey, he has returned home. Hailing from Dedigama in Kegalle, his passion for conservation began when his hamlet situated on a protected reserve became a dumping ground for garbage. “I feel that from my generation forward if this message is not taken ahead this problem will be carried onto another generation,” said Nalaka at the beginning of his journey. Captured here are images from his green campaign.
