Musical evening of classic hits by ‘RedBlock’ next month

The show is being hosted by Mystical Rose International Institute of performing arts, where members of the band came together.
The band members include Deven Silva and Ashen Lowe on guitar, Priyandan Francis on saxophone, Malindu Maduwantha on drums and the two dynamic sisters Tharushi and Anjali Mendis on bass and keyboards respectively. The seven talented young musicians hope to deliver a performance unlike other musical shows. The musical evening will include three guest singers, Nayomi Makalanda, Chrimesh Perera and Leeanne Jurianz, and will also have a special performance by a girl group.
Proceeds from the show will go towards St.Peter’s College, as the majority of the RedBlock members belong to the St. Peter’s College alumni.
The evening will feature music from the Beatles, Bee Gees, Bryan Adams, Backstreet Boys, Bob Marley and a few popular Sinhala songs. Tickets are available at UCL Rajagiriya, Mystical Rose International Institute Ethul Kotte and at St.Peter’s College Colombo 4.
