Zahira College Colombo celebrates Founders Day
View(s):The Zahira College Colombo celebrated its Founders Day at the College premises recently. Former Director of the Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs Department and Distinguished Old Boy S.H.M. Jameel was the guest speaker and address the gathering.
The founders of the Zahira late I.L.M. Abdul Azeez, Arasi Marikkar Wappichie Marikkar, Ahamed Orabi Pasha and others were remembered at the event.
Principal of the College Trizvi Marikkar delivered the welcome address.
Senior Minister A.H.M. Fowzie, Parliamentarian A.H.M. Azwer, Ambassadors of the Pakistan, Palestine and Iraq, Old Boys , Teachers and Students were present at the event
Also Past Principals Javed Yusuf, T.K. Azoor and M.H. Jiffry, Board of Governors Chairman and Old Boys Association President Fouzul Hameed and members of the Board of Governors were present.
Principal Trizvi Marikkar and Guest Speaker S.H.M. Jameel were distributed awards and certificates who participated the contest to mark the founders day.
