ANC Performing Arts Club organizes Sarong Party

View(s):

The students of ANC Education recently came together for a themed party, dressed in a variety of colours. The event, a Sarong Party, was the first of its kind and was organized by the ANC Performing Arts Club, headed by President Chenuka Fernando.

The rustic affair took place at Women’s International, Colombo and both the boys and girls came clad in an array of colourful sarongs. For entertainment, ANC student, Janith Gamage (DJ Janith), spun his tracks all night long, while a calypso band kept the crowd entertained in between. DJ Janith is the popular choice amongst higher education institutes in Colombo.

The official photography partner and the official online media partner for the event was XtremeYouth, photographed by Pasan Dominic.
The Performing Arts Club is one of ANC’s more active clubs, and is the organizer of the talent show “Encore” for the past two years. This year they will be hosting “Encore” again in the coming months, in addition to co-organizing the ANC Annual Halloween Party, together with the I.T Society and the International Students’ Club, this October.
