S. Thomas’ College unleashed a wave of carnage upon Lumbini M.V, battering them into submission with a superlative display which yielded a brutal 95 (10 goals, 5 tries)-0 massacre of the innocent at Havelock Park yesterday.
The Thomians dominated every facet of the game, setting up camp in Lumbini’s half and straying at will over their try line.
The queue of players who scored tries comprised flanker Shaniv Ahangama, prop P. Deshapriya, fly half Devin Jayasinghe, hooker Panduka de Silva, fullback Arthis Jawarth, center Issa Ibrahim, center Hashaka Senanayake and winger Naveen Henakankknamage.
At halftime, S. Thomas’ had already racked up an enormous 35-0 lead.
