The 2007 Rahula Super Friends walked away with the trophy for the Rahula Super Six Cricket Fiesta and a cash prize of Rs 25,000 after action at the Sanath Jayasuriya grounds in Matara on April 27.

Team 2002 Rahula Max were the runners-up and received Rs 15,000 in cash. Nishan Senaka was named the Man of the Final as well as the Best Batsman while Hasitha Gunathilaka was named the Best Bowler. 16 teams of old Rahulian’s vied for the Rahula Sixes at this year’s fiesta, which was organised by the Old Rahulian’s batch of 2000.

There was fun and excitement throughout the day with papare bands, cheerleaders, dancers, food stalls and many trade stalls which were well patronized by the school’s many Old Boys, their families and well-wishers who gathered at the Jayasuriya grounds.
The highlight of the evening was an exhibition cricket match between organizers, The batch of 2000 and a team of film and television stars led by Suraj Mapa.
