A nine-member national table tennis squad, consisting four men and five women took wings to Delhi, India yesterday to embark on two World Series competitions. The paddlers led by national top seed Rohan Sirisena will compete in two World Series events, the Commonwealth and World championships which will be held at two venues apart. The Commonwealth Championship will be held in Delhi, India from May 5 to 10 followed by the World Championships 2013 in Paris, France from May 13 to 20. The squad posed for an official photograph minutes prior to their departure at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake yesterday.
