Sepaktakraw Championships on May 18 and 19
View(s):The amateur Sepaktakraw Association of Sri Lanka will be conducting their 2013 championships for the tenth time at the Indoor Sports Complex of St. Joseph’s College, Darley Road, Colombo 10, where teams from ten districts are expected to participate on May 18 and 19.
Altogether there will be 16 men’s teams and six women’s teams battling for honours. This year’s championships will be held over two days with the ‘Double Event’ commencing at 12.30 p.m. on May 18 and the ‘Regu’ event taking place at 8 a.m. on May 19. The competition is to be staged on two courts.
The Secretary of the Amateur Sepaktakraw Association M. Jaldin, who is also the Chairman of the Organising Committee, and Chairman Technical Committee, Zahiran Hajireen, has made all arrangements to make this a grand event. Entries close on May 15.
