Moragasmulla FC win Silver Cup
View(s):Moragasmulla FC defeated Colpetty United SC by three goals to nil to win the final of the Silver Cup football tournament conducted by the Colombo Football League at the CR and FC ground last weekend. At half time Moragasmulla held a 1-0 lead.
In the 11th minute of the game centre half Sanka Mahesh dribbled past the Colpetty United defence and passed to left extreme Nilamal Dananjaya who made no mistake to put Moragasmulla one up.
After the turn around, Sanka Mahesh set up the second goal when he booted the ball to forward Dilan Madushanka to make the tally 2-0 in the 65th minute and for the final goal the brothers, centre forward Roshan Priyawansa worked the ball to Dilan Madushanka who found the back of the Colpetty United net to give Moragasmulla a 3-0 win and the Silver Cup.
