Kingswood who has undergone four successive defeats put up a better performance as Science was able to only hold on to a two point lead at the breather 7-5.

The second half was closely contested affair with Kingswood giving the fancied Science side some anxious moments. The game ended with both the sides making up their scores through a goal, a try and a penalty.

For Science T. Abeysekera and D. Silva scored the tries with C. Gomes booting over the conversion and the penalty while N. Perera and S. Mohan were the try scorers for Kingswood and A.N. Perera kicking over the conversion and penalty. – MSA
