The second Colombo Night Races which drew large crowds began at Colombo Fort yesterday. Prominent local and international participants took part in the much anticipated racing event where seven car events and four motor cycle events were held during the night. The Sunday Times staff photographer Amila Gamage captured some enthralling moments of the McLarens 1300 event which attracted 10 leading local drivers. The event was organized by Carlton Sports Club, Asian Motor Racing Club and Sri Lanka Motor Cycle Club.
