Annual Tamil cultural festival to be held in Ragala
View(s):The 2-day Tamil Sahithya Festival, an annual event in the hill country, will be held in Ragala, on November 3. The awards ceremony will be held on November 4.
The Tamil Cultural Festival was introduced in the 1990s by the Ministry of Education – Tamil and Hindu Culture, with the intention of promoting the socio-culture of the Tamil people especially in the plantation sector.
