Bitget Partners with CeylonCash and Infinite Grace Foundation to Deliver Urgent Relief to Sri Lanka’s Cyclone Ditwah-Impacted Communities
View(s):Bitget, the world’s largest Universal Exchange (UEX), has launched a humanitarian relief initiative to assist Sri Lankan families affected by Cyclone Ditwah, which caused severe flooding, landslides, and widespread disruption across several districts. In partnership with CeylonCash and the Infinite Grace Foundation, Bitget is supporting a structured multi-tier relief program to deliver urgent supplies to communities struggling in the cyclone’s aftermath.
The impact has been especially severe for low-income and rural households, where rising water levels displaced families, destroyed homes, and disrupted access to basic necessities. In highland regions like Nuwara Eliya, colder temperatures intensified the need for immediate aid, particularly for vulnerable groups such as children and the elderly. Relief items being distributed include drinking water, warm blankets for cold climates, clothing for women and children, and dry-ration packs designed to sustain families for a week.
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said the company’s efforts reflect its belief that progress in the digital economy must go hand in hand with compassion. The Infinite Grace Foundation and CeylonCash are coordinating with local leaders to identify the worst-affected areas and ensure fair, timely distribution of supplies. Founder Stephanie Siriwardhana noted the strong sense of unity shown across the country and expressed gratitude to all supporters.
