The government says the Advanced Level examination will go ahead as scheduled with all facilities provided to students who have been affected by the cyclone.

Deputy Minister of
Education Madhura Senevirathna said the A/L subjects which were postponed due to the cyclone will be held on January 12.

He said new examination centres will be set up for students whose previous centres were damaged or destroyed in floods and landslides.

They will also be given the necessary transport facilities, he said.

There will also be psychological help where necessary, he said.
