View(s):The University of Colombo has earned recognition in the Shanghai Ranking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2025.
This year, the ranking includes over 2,000 universities from 92 countries and regions across 57 academic subjects.
Among the subjects ranked, the University of Colombo has secured a place in the Clinical Medicine category, with a world ranking of 401-500.
The university said “the achievement highlights the university’s commitment to excellence in medical education and research on a global scale”.
