Royal beat Sebs to take Under 15 division 1 cricket title

Royal College, Colombo beat St. Sebastian’s College, Moratuwa by 86 runs to emerge champions of the Under-15 Division I cricket tournament which ended last week. Geeshath Panditharatne of Royal was adjudged the man-of-the-final. The Royal cricket team comprised following players.

Chamika Karunaratne (Captain), Thiran Dhanapala (Vice Captain), Geeshath Panditharatne, Hasitha Samarasinghe, Lasith Embuldeniya, Minura Punchihewa, Umesh Sooriyabandara, Buddhika Arsekularatne, Malith Kariyawasam, Shashika Yasawardane, Trevin Karunaratne, Avinash Devarajan, Shehan Perera, Kalana Dias, Sathila de Silva, Praveen Nadarajah, Chandula Welivita, Dilen Fernando, Duleeka de Silva, Shawket Lahir, Shashika Jayawardane, Kapila Withanagamage (M-I-C), Rohan Sousa (Head Coach), Nimantha Peiris and Manjuka Perera (Asst. Coaches).
