Blind cricket talent on show

The final of the Dilmah Challenge Trophy Cricket tourney will be played on Tuesday, 5th October 2010 at St. Thomas' College Primary grounds, Mount Lavinia. Ranaviru Sevana SC will take on the team from Subhagya School for the Deaf and Blind, Monaragala.

Both teams have remain unbeaten throughout the preliminary rounds and an exciting finish is in store. Cpl. Ruwan Karunatilleke skippers the soldiers and Chandana Deshapriya leads the Subhagya team.
Mr. Dilhan Fernando, Director Dilmah Group will be the Chief Guest and distribute the awards.
The Western Band of the School for the Blind, Ratmalana, will be in attendance.
