Sasith Gunasekera 147

Rajan opener and consistent scorer Sasith Gunasekera stole the show with a belligerent unbeaten 147 as they played out a draw against Vidyartha at the Police Grounds in Kandy yesterday.
Gunasekera included six sixes and ten fours in his knock. Lahiru Herath also made a half century with five fours.

A slightly depleted Vidyartha side batted nearly 64 overs for their 120.
Opener Ruwan Bandara batted impressively for his 39.
Vidyartha 120 in 63.5 overs (R. Bandara 39, U. Wickremasinghe 13, K. Gamage 11, S. Attanayake 19; D. Lanka 5 for 58) and 1 for no loss in 1.4 overs.

Dharmaraja 248 for 4 in 53 overs (S. Gunasekera 147 n.o, L. Herath 54, K. Wijekoon 18, H. Munaweera 24 n.o; I.S. Weerasinghe 1 for 44, T. Ranaweera 1 for 33)
