Fourteen-year-old Sasini Wellalage of Holy Cross College Gampaha emerged champion at the All Island under 15 Girls Table Tennis Tournament held at the Aquarius Beach Hotel Marawila.

During the tournament Sasini’s playing style captured the attention of all present as she reeled out an array of perfectly executed shots with rare skill backed by sound technique.
Sasini is thankful to her Gampaha Holy Cross College Principal Rev. Sister Mary Deepani, her TT coach and her parents for the progress she has made so far in the sport.
Sasini was also in the first eight at the Western Province under 15 and 18 age group table tennis tournaments for 2010.
