There are many important factors to consider when selecting a degree for your child. I will mention the most important factors here. You must get to know about the ranking of the degree awarding university globally and regionally. Find out about the academic quality assurance given because most international degrees are taught by local faculty members. Do not forget to ask about the faculty members, their background and qualifications. Since it's an investment for 3 years, find out about the local campus facilities and the quality of existing students and their values. Last but not least find out whether you are getting real value for money.
