On the auspicious occasion of the first year celebration, I take pleasure in extending warm and sincere greetings to the students and the staff of the NEXT School of Business. We, as the monitoring body of The Chartered Institute of Marketing Sri Lanka Region are pleased with the tremendous progress shown by Next School of Business during the last year in terms of providing quality education and the increase of market size.

Marketing is one of the fastest changing disciplines in the world and it is a gateway to modern wealth. Sri Lanka has yet to succeed in developing large numbers of global brands and is truly in need of great marketing professionals. Good marketers will always help to capture known territories for either local brands or global brands in their own backyard but great marketers will capture unknown territories in the world. Unfortunately, Sri Lanka has so far produced many good marketers but very few great marketers.

Therefore, if Sri Lanka is to develop, we desperately need the contribution of great marketers.
In this endeavor, I wish the Next School of Business will contribute continuously to uplift the quality of marketing education in Sri Lanka. Finally, I congratulate your school for winning over the hearts of large number of students over a short period of one year.
