Sriyan de S. Wijeyeratne, formerly country director for Microsoft Sri Lanka, has been appointed Managing Director/CEO of Textured Jersey Lanka PLC with effect from November, the company announced on Thursday.

Mr. Wijeyeratne was responsible for setting up and building the Microsoft presence in Sri Lanka, the company said adding that he previously worked at Suntel Ltd and Nestle Lanka.
