Competition grows; every year sees the entrance of new businesses with new ways of serving their customers, new models of business, and new technology. Every year, companies learn from their mistakes, turn around defeat and break new ground. The CIMA business case awards competition provides them with an arena in which they can pit their success stories against each other and come out triumphant, sharing best practices with the industry.

The CIMA business case awards night is dedicated to recognising those ‘corporate warriors’ who fought for their place amongst the legends of the business case awards, telling their battle stories of how they beat the competition.

Standing to receive recognition this year are AMW, Bank of Ceylon, CDB, Central Bank, Ceylon Cold Stores PLC, Coats Thread Exports (Pvt) Ltd, DIMO, Etisalat Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, Hirdaramani Industries (Pvt) Ltd, HNB, Team Outsiders, John Keells Holdings PLC, Lanka Hospitals Corporation, MAS Active Linea Intimo, MAS Intimates, Omegaline Ltd, Polytex Garments Ltd and the University of Sri Jayawardenapura.
